This is a Task Order within the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to provide Maintenance and Repair Services (MARS) at NIAID’S Integrated Research Facility (IRF) Fort Detrick in Frederick, Maryland. The IRF at Fort Detrick (IRF-Frederick) is a 144,000 SF facility with the capability to conduct biosafety level (BSL)-2, BSL-3, and BSL-4 research. The scope of this requirement is to upgrade the existing security system to improve coverage and resolution while ensuring compatibility. Matos is providing project management oversight, assisting with scheduling of lab shutdowns and escorting. Matos is purchasing servers, cisco network switches, workstations, IP PTZ cameras and network switches due to end-of-life conditions. The project includes requirements to design, install, test, implement and deploy security equipment replacement. Matos is removing all existing cables, cameras, network switches and anything else that will be obsolete with the camera upgrade. Matos is purchasing and installing required Single Mode Fiber, Ethernet cabling and wiring conduit infrastructure to support the new network switches and new IP cameras. The final task of the project includes installing government approved security devices and hardware which comply with Division of Physical Security Management (DPSM) PDR Video Surveillance and Recording System and by the direction of DPSM Physical Security Specialist (PSS).
